Susan Lewis M.Ed.
Iβm a former preschool special education teacher, program leader, and now coach and adult educator with over 24 years of experience in early childhood education.
Throughout my journey, Iβve seen firsthand how disconnected systemsβQRIS, licensing, special education, policy, and practiceβcan leave educators overwhelmed and under-supported. That frustration is what fueled my purpose.
Today, I help early childhood teachers, leaders, and coaches navigate these systems with more clarity, confidence, and care. My approach is grounded in both research and real-life experience, and always centers the well-being of the professionals doing the work.
I believe PD should feel like supportβnot more pressure. Iβm here to build bridges between whatβs required and whatβs possible, so educators can show up with intention, lead with impact, and stay rooted in joy.
Now more than ever, early educators deserve support that honors their impact. Thatβs my purpose.

TESTIMONIALS

I am so grateful for having the opportunity to participate in SPARK Leadership Academy (with Susan Lewis). I had just assumed my role as a district administrator, and it was my first time serving in such a role. I was desperately seeking resources and support for my new role as an Instructional leader but I was only finding resources geared towards school building leadership. I knew I had the background knowledge and skill set to be successful but I was navigating a new district and the newness of it all caused a lot of anxiety and self-doubt. I was relieved when I got the invitation to SLA because 1) Susan Lewis has a wealth of knowledge and experiences that I knew would help me ease into my new role; she has this natural coaching ability that just brings out the best in you and lights your fire. 2) I would get to engage with other education leaders and I really wanted to meet people who had similar personal and professional goals. Since participating in SLA I have begun to feel more confident in my work. I was able to rediscover my why and I received a ton of resources that I use in my work as an Instructional leader. If you are considering joining SLA, do it! Believe me you will not regret it!

I want to update you on a recent career
opportunity for me to become a VP for an Early Childhood in-district school. I don't think I would have been ready to take this new position, had I not attended the academy. While I am nervous to transition form being a Educational Early Childhood coach, I can truly fall back on what I was able to learn in our collaborative community support sessions and feel confident that I will be able to take this new responsibility.

School District VP of ECE

I help early childhood educators, leaders, and coaches reconnect with the heart of why we do this workβand reflect on how we can do it with more purpose, clarity, and care.
My approach isnβt about perfection. Itβs about small, intentional shifts that lead to meaningful, lasting changeβin classrooms, in programs, and across communities.
Whether weβre rethinking daily routines, strengthening team dynamics, or translating research into practice, weβll work together to make this work feel more aligned, more sustainable, and more rooted in what matters most.
